Our temporary home in MERIDIAN IDAHO

We are finally all moved in and most boxes out. We put much of our stuff in storage this time which made the unpacking a lot easier. Any guesses as to how long we will stay in this lovely home?

Geoff and 2Moto- Fun in the Sun & in the Snow

Our good friends-the Kings- are part of a company, 2Moto, that have developed a way to "Winterize" a motorbike so you can ride year round. Basically, when winter brings the snow, you take off the wheels and put on skis. This kit is on the market now, but they are still doing some testing. Geoff felt the need to give some service, so he spent the day helping them test the bikes.

Seven of them went to the peaks of the mountains near Tamarack (beautiful!) and rode all day. At noon Geoff called and said, "I haven't had this much fun in a long time." He absolutely loved it. He came home sunburned and exhausted, and can't wait to go again.

Celebrating Justin's Birthday

Justin invited his good friend, Dylan Leman (who is 3 years Justin's senior, but doesn't phase either of them) over for the day to celebrate his birthday. First they went bowling. It was GREAT entertainment for me. I was sure Justin would break right through the alley floor with each toss of the bowling ball. He got more vertical climb than horizontal distance. Yet, his ball did make it to the pins and he did amazingly well with this style.

Then to the community pool to cool off for a little swimming. It was also Max's first time in an actual swimming pool this summer and he LOVED it.

Next, they spent a good portion of the evening creating a LEGO MARS MISSION cake. They made it with little assistance and decorated it all by them selves. It was another entertaining episode in the Neyman kitchen... and oh what a mess...but fun. All I can say is, watch out Janet Eyring...you've got some competition!

The rest of the Leman's came over and enjoyed the final cake creation with us. Since we've been in Idaho, we've celebrated all of Justin's birthdays with this AWESOME family. It just wouldn't be right without them here on his special day.
(After Oakley died, the Leman's really just took Justin in like a little brother, and made a HUGE difference in the gap he felt with Oakley's absence. We LOVE the Leman family!)

This is how Justin finished the fun day. NO, he is not throwing up (even after eating all that sugar!). When I saw him practically engulfed by the trash can, I asked him, "What in the world are you doing?!!" He replied, "I'm making sure you didn't throw away the extra M&M's!" Geoff says I've created this monster, but I say Justin inherited this trait from Geoff...hmmm.

All in all, we had a great day.

A Wonderful SEVEN YEARS with JUSTIN

Birthday Boy

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUSTIN!!
Our SUPER STAR 7-Year old!

Here is Justin's special birthday breakfast. The "STAR" of the day gets to use the special star plate.

Geoff and I made Justin's birthday sign early this morning. I had to take a close up of Geoff's lettering... We all love to see what he creates! This reminds me of my Father who made the best stick figures ever. We all loved getting his notes with a little "Dad art" at the bottom. Geoff also has this fun talent.
Justin LOVES legos. He has slowly been collecting the MARS MISSION set (got the one on the right for his birthday today). He really is good at building them and loves playing with them. The are so much more technical than the simple rectangular blocks I grew up with. These transform and shoot things and roll and fly and etc...amazing.

Trampoline fun

After a year of having our trampoline disassembled, Geoff pulled it out and put it together. After Oakley died last year, we didn't jump on it much because it was never the same without him. It's so nice now to have little Max to share the joy again. Justin and Max both could eat , sleep, and play all day on the trampolline!

Watch out ladies!

While unpacking, Max found this hat that Justin made before we moved. He insisted on wearing it for a good portion of the day. What a gentleman!

Happy Father's Day

Dad's special breakfast

Geoff is an incredible father...
Our boys adore him!

Geoff's Father's day gift...
For Geoff the fun is in the packaging, not necessarily what is inside. He loves when I am creative and recycle things. This is packing paper which we have mounds of in our house from moving. Geoff loved it.

My favorite part of the day...
Just relaxing together and enjoying each other and the boys.

Ice Cream Castles
The Highlight of Father's Day for Geoff & Justin
(one of the few times we actually buy "REAL" ice cream and other illegal food items.)

Eagle Fun Days Parade

The morning began with one of the biggest events of the year for Eagle residents... the Eagle Fun Days Wet N Wild parade. Everyone comes. The first half of the parade is the DRY parade, and the last half is the Wet N Wild part where all those on the side try and "slam" the riders with water and visa versa. It is the biggest and funnest water fight I have ever experienced. Anyone with a water tank, gun, hose etc participates, and NO ONE leaves dry. It is a hoot.

Geoff and Justin drove the Firefly truck in the first half (which was a BIG hit...people loved it, and they had a good number of advertisers who participated just for this event). Max and I were two of the thousands on the side watching. We all had so much fun.

More of the Auto Show

I gave Justin the camera to take a few pictures of his favorite cars. He took over 40 pictures. He really loves looking at them, and I must admit that I love it too. I'm very partial to ANY Mustang. I think they are beautiful cars. Geoff likes the Cobras and Justin loves Corvettes.

And More fun at Rock Island...AGAIN

I was sure there would be a million people here today, but once again we were the only ones here for most of the time. That we love it here is a HUGE understatement.

Geoff took a break from driving the truck around and sneaked up on us in the trees. He brought his camera and took these pictures.
