Justin invited his good friend, Dylan Leman (who is 3 years Justin's senior, but doesn't phase either of them) over for the day to celebrate his birthday. First they went bowling. It was GREAT entertainment for me. I was sure Justin would break right through the alley floor with each toss of the bowling ball. He got more vertical climb than horizontal distance. Yet, his ball did make it to the pins and he did amazingly well with this style.
Then to the community pool to cool off for a little swimming. It was also Max's first time in an actual swimming pool this summer and he LOVED it.
Next, they spent a good portion of the evening creating a LEGO MARS MISSION cake. They made it with little assistance and decorated it all by them selves. It was another entertaining episode in the Neyman kitchen... and oh what a mess...but fun. All I can say is, watch out Janet Eyring...you've got some competition!
The rest of the Leman's came over and enjoyed the final cake creation with us. Since we've been in Idaho, we've celebrated all of Justin's birthdays with this AWESOME family. It just wouldn't be right without them here on his special day.
(After Oakley died, the Leman's really just took Justin in like a little brother, and made a HUGE difference in the gap he felt with Oakley's absence. We LOVE the Leman family!)
This is how Justin finished the fun day. NO, he is not throwing up (even after eating all that sugar!). When I saw him practically engulfed by the trash can, I asked him, "What in the world are you doing?!!" He replied, "I'm making sure you didn't throw away the extra M&M's!" Geoff says I've created this monster, but I say Justin inherited this trait from Geoff...hmmm.
All in all, we had a great day.

Sounds like a great friend/family. Love the birthday, sounds fun.
I would have guessed throwing up! Glad you clarified. And don't you dare think of throwing away perfectly good M&Ms!!
