Saturday is a Special Day...

I love Saturday's like this! We woke up and all went for a bike ride. It was a beautiful morning, and felt so good to get out first thing. Justin lead the way and took us to Lochsa Falls Park. We stopped at Max's bidding, and played on the playground. It's so much more exciting when Geoff is with us. We played tag, and when Justin was after Geoff, we all laughed our heads off watching Geoff fake clumsiness and catastrophe as he climbed, slipped, bonked, crashed, mangled, and jammed through the playground. (Yet another memory recorded without the video camera...dang!)

After breakfast, Geoff went to the Church Cannery to help them do some dry pack, and Justin and I cleaned the house sparkling clean.

Then we went to Elijah Trent's baptism. I can't believe it will be Justin doing this just next year. He was especially interested in the baptism. Of course Max was thoroughly intrigued with the baptismal font. I sat him down next to Justin on the floor right in front of the font. We watched Elijah come down into the water with his Father. My eyes went back to Max who was then climbing the glass barrier, trying with all his might to get over into the water. A few more seconds, and he would have made it over. So much for reverence. Still, the spirit is always so strong at every baptism. I love going.

Ran a few errands, went to Settler's Park, and home early to "get ready for Sunday!"
