Our late little garden

Our date night consisted of planting our garden (better late than never) and spray painting oil barrels. Since we are renting and not able to plant right in the ground, we are using these earth boxes which have been great in the past. We're hoping to yet produce some goods...green beens, peppers, pumpkin, watermelon, tomatoes & squash. We'll see.

We can't wait to have a real garden!

Love your garden, simple, and it will work great. I just read about your trip. It looks like it was packed with fun and family.

Good idea to plant a tiny garden!!! I've been wanting to do it with the kids, but get overwhelmed at the thought.

Have you ever planted watermelon? You are in for a HUGE surprise. I have 2 plants that are taking over the YARD!!!!!!!!!!!! It is amazing to watch these plants grow before my very eyes.

We have Earthboxes too! Even though we could plant right into the ground, we love our boxes because they seem to keep the bugs at bay so much better. How is your garden coming along? Will you have a harvest?
