K12

This year, for 2nd grade, Justin and I are going to try home schooling with the K12 curriculum. It is what they call a virtual academy. It's basically public school at home. There are benefits such as they supply the families with all the curriculum. This is a wonderful savings. They have an amazing Co-op for Music, Science, Art and Foreign language. I have my reservations about it, but am hopeful it will be a positive experience.

Justin just finished testing to see where he should be placed. He answered all the questions for 1st and 2nd grade at 100%, and about 75% in 3rd Grade (WOW! Way to go Justin!). So he will start the year at 3rd grade for math and language arts. I was grateful to know that we've been able to teach him what he needs to know and them some. Justin is a great student. Most of the time it is pure pleasure to teach him.

Wow, that is great! My other girl friend home schooled her daughter last year and her daughter is now above grade level! She really excelled. Good luck with K-12!
