Family Night Games

Today being Labor Day, our community park (Gerber Park--one of our favorites) had it's annual Ribs Roast Competition. They had all sorts of events, games, and fun things for families.
One of the boys favorite places was a vendor who made aluminum animals. They were very cool. The boys loved them!

Here is Justin with his favorite animal...the giraffe!

Playground time with Dad...always a hoot!

Justin surprised us by requesting to go down this big bouncy thing. He ended up spending a LOT of time here and absolutely loved it.

A fun time at Gerber Park. We passed on the Rib competition and came home for Monday night Pizza...yum! Geoff entertained the boys with Dry ice while I cooked. He did something I've never seen before that was VERY COOL. He put soap into the water containing the dry ice, and these massive bubbles formed. When you popped them, the bubbles exploded with Carbon Dioxide.

To finish our Labor day and Monday Night festivities, we made Tie Dye Family Camo shirts. We all love creating things like this. This was a first for us, so we weren't exactly sure what we were doing, but it was fun, especially when Geoff did his "mix the paint" dance.
We can't wait to see how they turn out!
